Wondershare Software offers its QuizCreator product to all the business users out there who need an efficient means of working with quizzes and surveys. QuizCreator can be used to create quizzes and surveys – lots of options are available so that you can extensively customize the quiz/survey. QuizCreator can be used to publish quizzes and surveys – publish locally or publish to the web. And last but not least, QuizCreator can be used to track the results of quizzes and surveys – track with QuizCreator Online, track results with email.

The setup wizard that helps you install QuizCreator quickly presents the aforementioned QuizCreator Online. It tells you that you can publish quizzes and questions to QuizCreator Online for easy access, that you can use QuizCreator Online to track quiz results, that you can create quizzes online, and that you can generate analysis reports. A “Thanks for installing” window will open in your browser when you’re done installing QuizCreator on your PC. Don’t dismiss it! Look down and you will see a 10-second Quick Start and a Complete User Guide. The first one is meant to quickly present the functionality QuizCreator has to offer; the latter provides a more in-depth look at the functionality QuizCreator has to offer.

Launch QuizCreator and a prompt will invite you to get started with a new quiz, get started with a new survey, open an existing quiz project, or open an existing survey project.

While creating a new quiz, you can play with lots of questions: true/false, multiple choice, multiple response, fill in the blank, matching, sequence, word bank, click map, short essay, blank page.
The same goes for creating a new survey: Likert scale, yes/no, pick one, pick many, short answer, matching, ranking, which word, essay, blank page.

The questions can be customized: pick a custom font, add an image, include sound, add a movie, and so on. Since we’re talking about customization, I have to bring up the fact that QuizCreator features customizable quiz templates. You can select an existing player template or you can design a custom quiz template.

When you’re done working on your quiz or survey, you can preview your work to see that everything is just the way you want it to be. And when you’re happy with everything, you can publish your work. QuizCreator gives you multiple publishing options: publish on QuizCreator Online, publish as a Flash file, publish as a SCORM/AICC package for LMS, publish as an auto-play executable file, publish as a Word/Excel quiz for print.
